I really don't feel that
old! This will be my last year in the Grid-Kid Football League. Next year I will either play on the freshman team or sit the bench most the season on the J.V. team. It's been a pretty good year, though. I made one touchdown and probably got over 300 yards!! My coach must have
real faith in me because every time we run a big pass play he puts me in. And if there's too many people on the field, I come off, and then the coach gets mad at me because reciever that went in, wasn't supposed to
, and missed the ball. Then he yells at me and says,"THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE YOU!!!" And I think,"Well sorry for not wanting to get a penalty for too many players on the field, Coach." Oh well. I can't wait for spring ball. Then we'll have our former coach, Jeff Bennett. He's been coaching this team since it started so he knows how we play. Oh yeah, I'm tryin' out for 2nd string QB in the spring. We actually had an awesome play this year where we're in punt formation, but it's a fake punt where I hit Zak on a fly(which is when you run straight down the side of the field.) I came up with that one. This year, Zak got hurt, and our back-up QB, Ben Mickelsen(about 4' 1") had to take over for a game and about a week of practice, keep it up Benney. He's a pretty good quarterback, he's jittery when he's on the field and is almost too short to see over the linemen's heads. Unlike Zak who is perfectly calm and knows what to do every single play, and he's only about a half inch shorter than me.

so i was reading this and i am all like what is qb? and then it said back up QB benni and i thot oh quarterback duh!
Unbelieveable....seems like it was just yesterday you started playing football. You have grown so much in stature, strength and attitude is wonderful to watch. Way to go pal!!!!
sounds like it would be funner to play on the freshman team than sit all year - plus you'd get way more experience playing, nut being on JV already would be fun too!
